Code of Conduct for the Students

1. It is compulsory for all students to attend the General Assembly in the morning at the scheduled time. Students should arrive at school before the 1st bell rings. Students arriving habitually late will be sent home.
2. Late comers must bring an application from their parent, failing which they will be sent home. No child shall leave the school premises during school hours without the permission of the Principal or the Teacher in Charge and without a gate-pass.
3. Students are the custodians of the school property. Damage or defacement of school properties, writing or scribbling on the walls, harming the plants or plucking flowers may attract heavy monetary penalty.
4. The School encourages a no-touch policy. Students must avoid touching schoolmates in violence or otherwise. They are not allowed to bully or intimidate other students, staff members or teachers. In case they face any problem, they are encouraged to contact the Class Teacher and/or the Principal for redressal. 
5. Any breach of discipline including instances of discord with or disrespect for teachers by the students will be dealt seriously and the offender found responsible for such misbehavior will be summarily dismissed.
6. Students suffering from an infectious disease must complete the quarantine period before rejoining school. This should be indicated on the medical certificate duly signed by a competent doctor.
7. All students are expected to speak only in English at school and we request the parents to encourage the students to do the same at home as well.
8. All students shall bring the school diary to school every day. Parents are expected to check the diary daily and sign wherever required. Students must possess the identity card, text books, note books and stationery items as instructed.
9. Possession of mobile phone/other electronic gadgets is not permitted in the school premises. If a student is found carrying cell phone/tab in the school, it will be treated as wilful disobedience of the school rules. The gadget may be confiscated by school authority and student suspended.
10. No valuable accessories or items of jewellery are to be worn by the students. They are also advised not to carry big amounts in cash. The School would not be responsible for goods, money or jewellery lost.
11. Students are not allowed to wear bangles, anklets, mehendi, tattoos and nail polish to school.
12. Students who are not in proper school uniform, shoes and socks will be sent back home.
13. The ward of those parents who avoid meeting the school authority, when advised to do so, may not be allowed to attend the classes.
14. Our school is a polybag-free zone. Students must not bring any articles like tiffin, stationery, craft articles etc. to school in polybags.
15. Students must not litter the school premises. Dust-bins/waste paper baskets must made use of.
16. Students must remember to raise their hand in the class before they speak. Walk in a line, when they are moving with the class or in a group, and switch off the lights and fans when not in use.
